The Ottawa office of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada (FNCFCS) opened its doors on January 3, 2003. The Ottawa office houses the Voluntary Sector Initiative project to promote partnerships between First Nations Child and Family Service Agencies and the Voluntary Sector as well as coordinate research activities through the FNCFCS First Nations Research Site in Winnipeg Manitoba.
